This was my first time camping, and was really nervous that I wasn't going to like it. When we were first escorted to our site, we were so excited to see how clean the whole area is. The park was a hop skip and a jump away, as was the basketball net- really convenient to be able to see our... More

I just returned from an overnight stay at this property. This is only the second time I have camped at a actual campground. We travelled with 7 families, with children ranging from ages 4-16. The grounds were well kept, manicured even. The staff was very friendly, check the grounds regularly, and the property is secure. They even come around in... More

Our first trip of the season in our pop-up was a huge success, thanks to this KOA experience! Owners were very friendly (they even bring you to your site personally!). Bathrooms were super clean and checked numerous times throughout the day. Showers were clean and private...loved the drop down shelf seat! The out-dated mini golf was still fun for our... More

I parked my travel trailer at this well-run KOA for a few nights while I ran into the city to spend time with family. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. I felt the prices were very reasonable and the property well-maintained. I will come here again when visiting the Chicagoland area.

campground is clean and taken care of. make sure you have a car to go anywhere as there is nothing close to do all day. washer no hot water, dryers did not dry clothes and $2.00 a load pricey. water is terrible as there are alot of minerals and you smell like iron after a shower. owners should deal with... For that past several years we have been doing "adults only" family camping trips and the Union KOA was our first trip...we didnt have the best experience about 4 years ago and gave it another chance about years ago and finally gave up... The "old" owners were very strict in regards to rules...no nonsense...one of them even made my aunt... More

We just did an over-nighter. The park is clean and well staffed and I appreciated the curbside wood delivery. The store had a few things I forgot to bring. My only complaint was teenagers playing in the playground and batting the tetherball after 10:30 pm. I was hoping someone would walk the park after hours to keep this from happening.... More

Thank you very much for your survey, we appreciate your very positive feedback. I normally start patrolling the park around 11 PM on busy weekends and try to make sure that the kids are on their tent/RV sites. Apparently when you stayed with us I was not very successful. Thomas & Sylvia More

We were coming in late, driving from Toronto, we called to book a reservation and since we were only tenting for one night the operator said we would not need a reservation. We mentioned we were going to be arriving late and he said that would not be a problem. So we arrive around 1030pm, no one in the office.... More

We came with a 41 ft motorhome towing a 20ft utility trailer. Site was plenty big. We stayed in June for a week and had come from our home in Florida. Our kids all live in the Chicago area and this was a perfect spot to stay. Management went out of the way to see everything was ok. Owners extremely... More

My family of 5, including two small children under the age of 5, arrived at KOA Union Friday July 13, 2012. Upon arriving everything looked great. Lots of trees, green grasses, clean building, great play ground, etc. However, our excitement ended there. When we were taken to our camp “site” (lot 99) my family and I became extremely disappointed. All... More

We are sorry that your experience at our campground was not as expected. For the convenience of our campers, all of our RV sites are pull thru site and most of our guests are very happy with this set up. Unfortunately, with this configuration you cannot avoid that the utilities of your neighbor campers are next to your campsite. I... More
