Very close to O'Hare and quick shuttle from the hotel back and forth. The rooms were clean, check-in quick, all staff pleasant, breakfast good, and everything worked as expected. Nice hotel with modern updates, but the location is noisy. The combination of planes and street traffic makes for sleepless night. It is very close to airport which is both good and bad. I like the hotel experience at the Hampton Inn. The shuttle, was waiting for me when I would get to the CTA to get the shuttle. I didn't have to wait at all. The breakfast was free. I was able to get Oatmeal. The only bad thing was that I didn't get a lot of sleep, because of the airplanes... more

The hotel is adjacent to the Thrifty Car Rental facility and shares a shuttle with the rental business. The benefit is that the shuttles run continuously and not on the typical 30 or 60 minute basis. I stayed here just to be close to the airport for an early morning departure. What makes this hotel unique is that the shuttles to/from the airport are run by Thrifty rent-a-car. Great value for the price, and very convenient to O'Hare. The free breakfast was better than most, and lobby area offered sufficient seating. Comfy bed, free internet, and nice work area. I did not notice any traffic or airport noise. more

This Hampton Inn is undergoing a major renovation. I stayed on the 4th floor - with my Diamond upgraded to a suite. The room was very nice and recently renovated. If plane or road noise does not bother you then this hotel will be fine. It is located between two major roadways and next to the airport. The staff is great and very accomodating. Rooms/bed always comfy. It's your choice. more
