We stayed there on our wedding nite - the whirlpool suite was nice, but we went down for dinner @ 4:45. We were the ONLY people in the restaurant - our server did not seem @ all interested in waiting on us - she kept talking to other employees while we waited. Stayed here for 7 nights while visiting The Solheim Cup in nearby Sugar Grove. The hotel is just over a year old and still has that new feel to it. Everything is in very good condition. One word describes the place. TERRIBLE! We stayed for two nights. On day 2 we were out all day and when we returned to the room we found that our beds wer not made. All the maid did was to throw the top sheet, blankets and spread over the bed. On one bed the blanket over hung onto the floor... more
At Best Western Timber Creek we take pride in our housekeeping scores and we feel there is absolutely no excuse for poor housekeeping service. Unfortunately we had a relatively new housekeeping staff during this stay and they were not taking proper care of guests who were staying multiple days. We have corrected this problem. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is new and we were expecting a few gliches. We were pleasantly disappointed! The rooms were in mint condition and the bar and grill were great. The only negative was that they were still in the process of landscaping so some of the grounds were not as beautiful as the interior. more
