The room was clean and roomy for our family of 5. I'd definitely recommend it to friends & would stay again in a heartbeat. The pull out sofa was quite adequate, and the beds were fine. Since the two decent hotels in Carbondale were booked for the Memorial Day weekend, I checked out Marion's offering. The Fairfield Inn & Suites looked fine - right off I57 and Highway 13.
