We decided to upgrade from our 'value' hotels' such as Motel 6 or Super 8 to a Holiday Inn Express. For about $25.00 more it proved to be a good decision. Good: Friendly and great service at breakfast bar. Clean with lots of nice touches like coffee and shampoo in room. Hot shower. There are lots of channels on television, and it was a nice size. Bad:Tiny pool. Uncomfortable beds.My daughter ended up sleeping on the floor because it was more comfortable. Fuzzy television.

Overall stay was good and the staff amoung the best. However opened up the hide-a-bed and the sheets were dirty, front desk was very quick to apologize and got us clean bedding! I stayed here overnight while traveling through for a business trip in August, 2012. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel staff patiently helped other travelers with dinner recommendations. Breakfast was OK, but not memorable.
