My wife and I loved the cabin, which has been around since the early 1800s and had a truly rustic feel. A foremost priority for us was finding a pet-friendly place where we could bring our dog. The $25 pet fee was reasonable. We loved the word burning fireplace, and the jacuzzi was a nice touch too. Beds were adequately... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here last week for 1 night before spending the rest of the weekend on Main street with friends for the Luminaria festival (which was unfortunately cancelled due to rain). It was so wonderful!!! We stayed in the Rawlin's cabin. Everything was perfect. Very quaint, private, and cozy. We felt like we were "roughing it" but... More

My husband and I stayed there on 2008. We stayed in the Grant Cabin. We LOVED the idea of a log cabin and the rustic-ness of it being on a farm. We would wake up in the morning to the sounds of cows mooing in the pastures right outside our window. It had tranquil and absolutely serene views of the... More

I see you stayed in 2008. I am the owner's daughter, Tammy and I have been here since August of 2011. We have terminated the previous managers and I am now the sole manager and housekeeper (with some help from my son). I have made some major improvements and I do all the housekeeping myself. You can see from recent... More

This was our 1st visit & def not our last! The cabins looked a little rough on the outside but keep in mind they are over 100 years old. The inside SUPRISED as they were very well kept & clean with the modern amenities we are accustomed to. Tammy was great to work with from the reservations to the checking... More

I had the pleasure of finding what must be a closely kept secret by those who know. this is not a commercially manufactured setting, but a true nostalgic feel of the past, with the modern amenities we have grown accustom to. it was true hospitality with honest concern for the quality of my stay. tammy had a real knowledge of... Let me preface by saying my husband and I consider ourselves adventurous travelers and we find the greatest pleasure in staying in off-the-beaten-path places and make an effort to seek them out. We have stayed in tents in Africa, 14th century cottages in France, 12th century medeival towers in Italy and many, many cool cabins, cottages and B&B's across the... More

I love this place! This is my fourth stay at the cabins. This time in..Grant..which is the "handicapped" cabin. These cabins are over 100 years old. They have a wonderful rustic charm with modern conveniences. Wood burning fireplace, hot tub, satellite TV. They are not new apartments set up to look old and rustic..they ARE old and rustic. If you... More

We stayed in the Parker House and thoroughly enjoyed it. You have to remember this cabin is almost 200 years old. However, it was very clean and well kept. Be prepared for two small loaves of delicious breakfast breads and orange juice to welcome you. These were the perfect size to get us going in the morning while we planned... More

Cabins are very cool - very log cabin/original, with updated bathrooms etc. They are very close together however, so be prepared for that. The deck on the Grant, was broken down and the deck in general a mess...table/chairs not cleaned or even able to be sat on. We received our one small load of frozen bread and 4 bottles of... More

The log cabins are every bit as rustic as we had expected them to be. It was clean and comfortable and we very much enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace. We were very disappointed in the condition of the whirlpool tub however. The surface was peeling in several spots which made it very unappealing to us. In addition, the water pressure was... More
