We just returned from this hotel and were impressed. The rooms are large and the beds have 6 pillows each and attractive quilts for bedspreads. We were here for a wedding - the room smelled like urine and the pool was so full of chlorine it made our eyes and throat hurt just sitting next to the pool. Carpet in the room was stained and sticky. Was a very uncomfortable stay - felt dirty and stinky even in the hall ways. Way, way over priced... more

Their sign should say "Traveler Beware"...I am a seasoned traveler and this was not one of my best stays...I should of turned around when I walked in... When we went to check in I asked for a refrigerator and the check-in clerk asked me how to spell it!!!! WHAT....I never did get my refrigerator...plus the room look like the hulk... more

We stayed here for two nights in December to take in the sights of Galena and a must admit it provided everything that we required. We had a king sized room which was spacious, the bathroom was clean and had everything you need, including the coffee machine. This is an excellent hotel. Everything was perfect. Very clean rooms, very pleasant and courteous staff and front desk employees. Breakfast was typical for a hotel of this type - and adequate. The rooms were nicely decorated and quiet. Well located in Galena. Unlike many of the B&B's, they do not require multiple night occupancy. Great for families and couples.... more

I would say that this place was okay. Theres no fridge or microwave but the attendants were nice enough to allow us to use the ones at their breakfast room. Breakfast was okay, but it wasn't restocked the next day. The rooms were comfy and the maid always cleaned up. The indoor pool is pretty nice along with the jacuzzi.... more
