My husband and I spent Memorial Day weekend in Elsah at the Maple Leaf Inn Bed and Breakfast. It was so quaint and very charming. Elsah is a historical village with stone houses and narrow streets. We love Elsah, Il. and the Maple Leaf cottage Inn makes the stay even more enjoyable. We have stayed at over 45 bed and breakfasts in 14 states and Maple Leaf cottage Inn is our favorite. This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast and it was a wonderful one. Going to Elsah was like going to another time in history, when things were simple, safe, and peaceful. This was my first experience with a Bed and Breakfast and I will say that I was pleasantly surprised. From the moment we arrived Jerry was more than helpful.
