This was our second time staying at the Allegro. We were here for a wedding room block this time (August 2011), all staff was fantastic, friendly and very helpful. This place is a class act. I'm amazed to have gotten a room for only $125 -- maybe because its in the depths of winter. In the center of The Loop. Nice, inventive rooms, well decorated. Historic place (1926) but no dinginess. Wine/beer reception every day at 5. Will be back. More
