Traveling to a big city with young kids can be very difficult, but Millennium Kinckerbocker Chicago made it a little easier. Classic old hotel that has been updated very nicely. The one bedroom suite works great if you want a seperate area for the kids to sleep. (BEWARE OF THE ELEVATORS!! Tiny old elevators that have NO room for larger... More

We had a great 4 day stay over Mother's Day weekend. The hotel has great comfy beds and pillows. Our room was super quiet, which was great. Our view was not wonderful, but the friendly staff made up for it. It was a great location for walking. It was a great value in a sea of big chain hotels.

Stayed for 4 nights in early May. Room was clean and comfortable. Very close to the Lake and to the shops at 900 Michigan. There is a charge for wifi in room but it is free in the lobby, which is very nice.

My colleague and I were both upgraded on arrival, which was a nice gesture - we were booked into a small suite each - that was appreciated. We did not ask to be upgraded. The hotel is a bit older and looks a bit tired and dark. The room was spotless and contained all the amenities of a four star... More

We got an amazing deal on a package through Travelocity that included airfare and this hotel for 3 nights at the beginning of May 2012. We read that the standard rooms were very small, so paid a little extra for a superior room which added some square footage. We arrived bright and early at 10am on a weekday and were... More

Hotel is very close to the Magnificent Mile - shopping and site seeing. The guest room, while a little small was well appointed, bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms were very nice. Make sure you don't miss "the Bean" at Millenium Park.

I booked an extremely wonderful rate on hotels.com, and my expectations weren't high. I had no problem checking in around 10am after a morning flight arrival, and the staff had me booked in a quiet room at the end of the hall away from any elevator noise, just as I'd requested online. The front desk clerk was very affable and... More

Experienced a decent stay due to nicely modern rooms in this renovated old Chicago classic. The overall feel is dated and the lobby is classic in a certain manner. Rooms were virtually brand new with only a few random frayed carpet edges. Parking is the one sore spot. Valet is $55 per day. Ludicrous. Got good rates on a travel... More
