Wary at first as the lobby & elevators were a little, worn, but the room although small was modern & refurbished & had a great sized tv w/good channels, very comfortable bed. The location of the Knickerbocker on the Magnificent Mile couldn't be better, but I found the hotel to be a bit dated and the service lacking (for a supposedly 4-5 star hotel). more

The great location, very comfortable and clean rooms ( what a nice bed!!!!), nice lounge to hang before and after our programs, everyday tips and information flier regarding tours and sight seeing ( incredible lady at the concierge service), the only down was the weather....cold and rainy.... but we all had lots of fun... more

Can't beat the location - just off Michigan Ave, across from the Drake. Rooms are newly renovated and lovely. We asked to switch rooms (after initially requesting a king size bed) because the room was so small. The staff was accommodating and the second room - with two double beds - was just fine. The front desk was wonderful and completely helpful. There was a few problems with my room at check in and the staff was very apologetic and moved me to a different room right away.
