We stayed here on News Years Eve. The hotel was crowded, with few open rooms. Upon checkin, we found food on the floor in our room (could not be moved, as hotel was full). We also were on the south side of the hotel, and could hear the L train go by every so often (despite being on the 26th...

Did the same $129 room for downtown Chicago (crazy). Awesome location. Room decent with huge bed and soft too! Great view of the river, Trump Tower, Shopping on State, etc. Fast check in, cool looking bar in lobby. Lots of business in and around the lobby and block to walk to. Valet parking with a 52 buck hit. Did the...

Best location in the city. A Bazillion restaurants within walking distance. Novo lounge in the lobby is killer and Kit is by far, the best, most outspoken, female bar-tender in the "312". Food downstairs is good. No free internet in the rooms even for Marriott elite members which is just plain lame in this day of age. We locked in...

Stayed here 3x over the past three months. I travel a lot and my wife joins me when she can. Great location for shopping at Michigan Ave and State St. Short walk to Mellinium Park and right next door to the theaters. I love the location of this hotel. The food at the bar downstairs is excellent.

Travel much on business. Take the family here every year for a 3-4 day vacation to Chicago with friends. Location is excellent (nice area, close to shops and restaurants). Rooms are nice with good views of city, hotel is clean, service is good and atmosphere of hotel is nice.

We stayed here on a Friday night before seeing a Saturday matinee at the Chicago Theatre which is literally kitty-corner from the hotel. Our room, 2504, was extra spacious and had a suite-like feel: king bed, sofa, desk, two floor-to-ceiling windows with partial views of the Lake, as well as a large bathroom with Aveda amenities. Swift elevators with short...

This has been my 4th or 5th visit to Renaissance and i love it each time. The familiarity, service, convenience to the Mile and yet some distance from the hulabuloo, makes it so much comfortable. I have the view of the water from my room usually. Awesome breakfast at Great Street - great food.
Only ask is if the coffee...

Nice hotel, great location. Room was pretty small but very nicely appointed. Disappointed in "Chicago River View". When I booked the room it looked as if all rooms had a view. I had a slight view when standing up and looking to the extreme left. Overall a nice hotel with very nice personnel. I would stay there again and hope...
