The Hotel Raffaello is in great location! It is close to all the fantastic sites including: many great restaurants, shopping on the Magnificent Mile, the John Hancock Center, Lake Michigan, the Old Water Tower, and the River Boat Cruises (various companies). This was a good location for us because I was traveling with my Mother. She has had ankle replacement... More

The reviews leading up to our stay were all pretty bad, so I was a little bit apprehensive about what the hotel would actually be like. Turns out, it was totally fine. Actually, pretty nice. We arrived late, but were promptly checked in and given an upgrade to a suite. The room was huge! Way more space than we needed.... More

I booked a room for 4 nights and I wish I could stay longer. I have never seen such a friendly and cheerful staff as at Rafaello. Receptionists, bell boys, cleaning staff were absolutely outstanding. Travellers who have posted any negative comments about this hotel should really think if it was the hotel or them that were not up to... More

Booked the hotel for eight, two per room for three nights. Hotel is just down the street from the Water Tower in Chicago. Great hotel, very clean, comfortable beds and nice linens. The concierge was a great help. No breakfast included though, but a nice little Keurig two cup coffee maker. This was a good location, close to the bus... More

Found the hotel to be very clean, staff quite friendly and well situated. Only complaint is the charge for in room Internet service. Why every mid price brand hotel gives service for free and upscale hotels persist on charging for something that is a necessity and not luxury is Rediculous!

I stayed in this hotel for a week from 26th of April 2012. I loved the location. Just in the center of the shopping streets Mignificent Mile, Oak street, Rush street etc with many high fashionable shops and good restos. The Hankook tower just the next building to the hotel, with fantastic view. It is 5-7 minutes driving to Millenium... More

The hotel is awful. The rooms are old. The walls dirty, the carpeting and all soft goods need to be replaced. All hard goods need rplacing, too. The bathroom too small and the shower did not work properly. They do not have a breakfast spot so your only option is room service-great option for business travelers....pls send up some coffee... The hotel is in a great location and the staff was friendly. However there were many poor qualities. There was a stinky smell (like toilet vent gas) in the hall and at times in our room. There was no decent reading light by the beds. The front desk put me on hold and the concierge never picked up. There are... More
