I stayed here for a night while on a business trip in Chicago. For where the meeting was the hotel is well situated. For where the good/fun parts of Chicago are I would not want to stay here. The hotel itself was ok - nothing terribly wrong with it, but nothing overly positive about it either. The room was nice,... More

My husband and I along with our two children, 5 and 2, stayed here for a short weekend get away. It's very easy to get here by any mode of transportation. $10ish for a taxi from downtown, three blocks from pink line and four block to the bus that will take you to the museums. The neighborhood is quiet with... More

i stayed there 5 nights and even thought the location is perfect if you need to stay close the UIC hospital the hotel is quite miserable. the goods points are: a shuttle that brings you and come to pick you at the hospital and a big room. the bad points are: my room was dirty, i found pills from a... First off this is a hotel for families to stay while a loved one is at the Medical Center. If you want to see Chicago, go elsewhere. It's a basic hotel, no fancy bells or whistles. But if you need a place near the medical center it can't be beat. I spent a week in the same hotel room with... More

In the medical district for business and stayed 2 nights. I would like to comment on how friendly and helpful the staff were and the well appointed room that met my expectations. Although not a large hotel, the services, food and attention to detail were very good. From the front desk personnel, the van drivers to the wait staff: all... More

If you need medical help maybe this is the hotel, but their crap service will leave you depressed. The hotel smells foul, especially the lower levels. The staff is distant, it is almost a shock to see one of them smiling. The waitstaff is entitled, making sure you wait for a considerable time before begrudgingly offering change. I'm sorry I... We stayed at this hotel because my husband was having surgery. It is rather expensive and parking is charged also but it was so convenient to have a shuttle service to the hospital. Room was comfortable and clean. My only complaint is why put a towel bar directly in front of the sink? When you bend to wash your hands,... More

We were in from Orlando just to see a concert at the University(postponed after we flew in..more on thar later) and this was listed as the closest. Our plane arrived early and Rosemarie at the front desk was extremely gracious and allowed us to check in early. She along with the valet and the front desk staff recommended restaurants etc..... I stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights while my husband underwent surgery at Rush University Medical Center located directly across the street. The room was good-sized and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Another plus was that the bathroom was quite large, with lots of towels and almost immediate and plentiful hot water; the only missing items were... More
