My biggest complaint about the hotel was that the room was quite small. No issues with the room facilities - bed etc. The gym is great - weights separate from cardio. Very nice club loungs and prices that are extremely reasonable. More

I have stayed at the Michigan Ave. Marriott many times for business and pleasure. Great access to shopping, restaurants, and Chicago attractions located in the heart of the Magnificent Mile. Room was clean and bed comfortable, but small. Bathroom even smaller. With 2 people plus luggage, not a lot of room. Internet should be included. Marriott Fairfield in Madison WI did include internet. Street noise could be heard on 36th floor room. Heat could not be turned down low enough for us to be comfortable. Hotel did provide a fan.... Stated during a dance showcase weekend. Was impressed how well the staff and hotel responded to the mayhem. Beds were comfortable. Had view overlooking the lake. 2 negatives. Great location as it's right on Michigan Ave and right in the middle of shopping. The service was also great. Parking was about $32 per 24 hours with in-and-out services. There's a Starbucks downstairs, but there are several in close vicinity of the hotel. We were there the weekend of the football league championships and the bar and lounge downstairs... More

This Marriott is in a great location. It is close to every thing - great restaurants, shopping, bars, entertainment. But, it was not a great experience. Had a great view from my room, but when you are a Marriott hotel I would not expect there to have the wall paper pealing from the walls. Lobby is wonderful and the staff is very nice. More

I stayed here for a trade show, and it was almost perfect for that: nice large lobby area to accommodate meetings, good central location for dinners, and we easily arranged a shuttle to McCormick Convention Center. But the rooms were just average (unless you pay up for a high-floor view), and my biggest complaint is that they're not set up... More
