The Wicker Park Inn is a small, immaculate B&B on a quiet residential side street in the up-and-coming and very trendy Wicker Park district on the north side of Chicago. It is about a 5 block walk to the CTA Blue Line Damen stop for frequent, direct service to O'Hare (about 30 minutes) and central Chicago (10-15 minutes). The inn... More

We stayed in the Tuscan Room and enjoyed having our own entrance. The El was a short walk either way up or down Milwaukee and we were able to get everywhere we wanted to go on a 5-day CTA pass. We really enjoyed the Wicker Park neighborhood: restaurants, deli's and coffee shops all close and reasonably priced. The Wicker Park... More

The Wicker Park Inn is cozied between the main drags of Milwaukee and Division. When I got there, Mickey gave me the lay of the land and some insider tips which I appreciated. When I left the other innkeeper helped me store my bag after I checked out. They are really easy-going helpful people who made me feel like I... More

I used to live in Wicker Park, a fantastic neighborhood that I feel represents Chicago perfectly: great restaurants, fantastic stores, family vibe, the best nightlife, tree-lined streets, and easy transportation (you can flag down a cab anywhere, and the blue line takes you straight into the Loop.) So when some friends and I decided to go to Chicago for vacation,... More

As seasoned travelers and B&B OWNERS from Houston, Texas - expressing our dismay and OUTRAGE at how completely misrepresented this B&B was... we STRONGLY DISSCOURAGE ANYONE FROM SUBJECTING THEMSELVES TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. We completely concur with the visitors from England, and as representatives of B&B's in the USA - apologize for their unpleasant experience... Our booking was the same room... More

We want to make this point - these guests made their reservation with the clear understanding that the Provence Guestroom has a private hall bath. Our website states: "The Provence Room...has a full-sized bed and a private bath with shower (just across the hall.)" When the potential guest called up to confirm their reservation, she asked about it and again... More

My friend and I stayed in the Tuscan Inn which had 2 beds (one also had a trundle), was roomy, clean and comfortable. The decor was great and they had direct tv and wifi. A small fridge was nice to keep drinks cold and keep leftovers. Also provides an iron/board. It has private entrance with a great little patio/seating area... More

Ignore the people who wrote negative reviews, unless you are terribly fussy and want the Ritz experience. I stayed here because of the neighborhood but was pleasantly surprised at how nice and roomy our room was. I am the type who likes to be left alone while I'm busy in a big city, so appreciated that the B&B owners did... More

We have just returned from a 3 week trip to the US starting in Chicago and staying at the above B&B. I think you should be aware that this is an awful place to stay. Apart from the exhorbitant charges which were the highest of anywhere we stayed during our 3 weeks it is definitely NOT value for money. We... More

Great experience! Laura and Mikky are wonderful hosts, very willing to accomodate any special needs. Tuscan Room is very comfortable. Noise could be a problem for some light sleepers as the stairs/common area are directly above, but this was not a significant problem for us. Great location in a beautiful and vibrant neighborhood, convenient to bus/train. Will stay again! More

My friend and I stayed in the Tuscan Room at the Wicker Park Inn the weekend of Veterans Day. We were delighted with the room - very cozy, warm, wonderfully decorated. The inn keeper was very helpful with restaurant reccomendations, places to see and a good description of the area. Will definitely stay here again! More
