Don't let the outside of this hotel fool you. It's a small hotel with comfortable quiet rooms. While the view out of our windows was the rooftop of a smaller building, the room made up for it. And yes, because of the decor and the direction our room faced - the room was somewhat dark, but it was ok. Unless... More

I found this place through Trip Advisor, and as usual we were not disappointed. The outside is typical old school Chicago Architecture, but the inside is really trendy. Just blocks from Michigan Avenue (Art Institute, Millenium Park, Shopping). Even closer to State Street with more restaurants and shopping. You can take a 40 min train ride from the airport and... First time in Chicago and was going to stay with my brother but he fell asleep and would not wake. I was not comfortable with the last minute reservation because I did not know what to expect. I am accustomed to big hotels 500+ rooms. Walking in I was still skeptical but I was greeted by Denise. She is awesome.... More

Each year my family travels to Chicago for a conference the week after Thanksgiving. We used to stay at the Palmer House Hilton and now stay at the Hampton Majestic because it is caddy corner to the Palmer House and a lot less expensive. The customer service at the Majestic is very good (mostly) but the quality seems to have... More

Dear hlalwine, I am very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your trip as much as last year. We did have several guests complain in regards to the sheet issue you experienced and we have rectified this issue with our linen company; however that did not help you during your stay and for that I apologize. As for... More

When you arrive the the Hampton Inn Majestic, the only thing that it's cold, it's the weather. With a warmth welcome from the Hapton staff, and the like-new rooms, this very well located hotel can not be beat in downtown Chicago. You are only 3 block away from Michingan Ave at the millenium park, and two block away from one... More

Usually my reviews are a bit more extensive and detailed, but I don’t have much to say except that my wife and I had a very very nice stay here. Cynthia at the front desk took care of us with an upgrade for my wife’s birthday. The breakfast was actually quite good, both mornings. The hotel was in an excellent... More

A good central location a few blocks from Grant and Millennium Parks, the Art Institute, and some decent shopping. We walked to the Magnificent Mile and the river, too - but whether that's closer for everyone is relative, I suppose. As a HHonors Diamond, I was upgraded to a 21st floor room with a majestically high ceiling and a view... More

The location is very convenient: it's only a half block from the Blue Line train from O'Hare Airport, at walking distance from many attractions, as for instance the Millenium Park and the Art Institute of Chicago, and in the heart of Chicago. Besides, there are two subway stations just around the corner. The neighbourhood is very safe even at night.... More
