I chose this hotel on the basis of its location and all the positive reviews for it. I found the location fantastic - close to where I wanted to be, close to Metro and good food. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. When the tv remote needed to be fixed, they were there in mere minutes with battery replacement.... more

The James Hotel is excellent. No doubting that. Great loctaion, great rooms and a bit of boutique spunk to go with that. It definately beats a boring "chain brand" experience any day of the week. This place was a fantastic deal. We got a great rate through a 3rd party travel website. The staff was very attentive, rooms were great, beds excellent. Outstanding location, great restaurants very close. We stayed here several times when it was the Lennox House Suites and it has really jumped into the stratosphere. more
