Mark be down as someone who was less than impressed with this positively-reviewed Comfort Inn. It is a semi-renovated hotel in the North Bridge area of Chicago. I stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites for a weekend getaway to Chicago. The location was great, walking distance to a ton of places. Also, the staff were really friendly and I really appreciated the complimentary breakfast. Really good food, and more than just your typical cereal/juice/coffee options. There are waffles, eggs, fruit, etc. All around great bargain. more

Front desk people are not friendly at all... as if they are trained to hate the customers. I found hair in my breakfast everyday... They have a fitness center...but, I wouldn't call it fitness center... They have atreadmill.. That's all... more

During my last visit I spent 5 days in this hotel. My room was simple and perhaps small, but it was more than I needed after walking Michigan and State Streets up and dawn all day long!
