Fantastic location on magnificent mile. The Conrad connects to the Nordstrom mall. Everyone we came into contact with from the bellman to the Concierge were top notch professionals. The hotel room was elegant, quiet, and had a nice view. The location on the Miracle Mile near the Chicago River was perfect for shopping and dining. we booked this as HiltonHonors (diamond) reward stay, and we were extremely pleasantly surprised that - because all executive rooms were booked - they double or triple upgraded us to the Presidential Suite !!! WOW. what a suite it was indeed. Location of hotel also excellent; lot's of stuff at walking distance. Parking indeed expensive, but it's expensive everywhere downtown... more

I really enjoyed my stay. I walked to shops and fun Chicago eateries and didn't need to spend lots of money on transportation. The rooms are luxurious and classy. more

Some of the negatives of the Conrad are also things that make it nice. By this I mean that it's right smack in the middle of all of the Michgan Ave. shopping action, but it's a little hard to find if you are driving---which makes for a quiet stay---no busy lobby or packed bar.
