Stayed here for 4 days late April 2009 while my husband had a business meeting in Chicago. Our 2 room suite, a supposed upgrade, was claustrophobic and dated. The 2 bathrooms were tiny in 70's style, bathtub/shower combo and more what would be expected in a 2 star motel. Service was spotty. The maid had to be called several times... more

Stayed at the Ritz with a business group in late May. The group had previously stayed at the Four Seasons (basically across the street). I much preferred the Four Seasons. The rooms at the Ritz were nice, but not outstanding. I extended my stay to be with family and so was paying for the room for an additional three nights.... more

This is a magificant, well run Ritz in an outstanding location downtown Chicago. The service was outstanding. Of course, the rate I paid was discounted (group), and although still a little high, was very much worth the price. The bed and bathroom features are exceptional. The service is outstanding.
