Stayed here in September '08 for a week while visiting my daughter. Clean, roomy, convenient and quiet even though I was in a room off the pool. Very helpful and upbeat staff. This was your standard Quality Inn. Nothing fancy, nothing exceptional. The A/C unit was quite loud but it did provide white noise to drown out the sounds from the nearby highway and train tracks. This hotel was your average Quality Inn. We had a nice sized room overlooking the indoor pool area. The hotel is slightly run down, but for the price we paid, we got exactly what we expected. Our room smelled badly of smoke, although it was a non-smoking room. The hotel consists of two buildings with a run-down bar in between. The hotel building itself needs to painted and updated. Next time we come through sandpoint we are going to try another place. more
