Its close enough to town that there are plenty of things to do but you can enjoy being away from your busy life. The people who run the place a great, left warm cookies for us and stayed out of our space but we had the comfort of knowing they were there if needed. The decor is CUTE! I live... More

We've been to Sandpoint, Idaho many times and stayed with friends. This trip was for our anniversary. Brett and Tawnie were so welcoming and helpful, even letting us borrow a double kayak to explore the shoreline. We stayed in the Cowboy Cabin and were warned that it was quite small. The cabins are cute & well-stocked with supplies and the lake is in view but they are right on a busy road that dead-ends several miles away and the traffic is noisy, fast, and never-ending.

Sleep's Cabins has a lot going for it. Beautiful spot, history, very nice owners. And it wouldn't take much to get more stars from me which is what is mystifying. I can overlook the tiny, funky bathroom. It's a historic cabin. But the mattress was so saggy I never slept well and the bare glaring fluorescent light in the bedroom... More
