What a wonderful motel set on the Clearwater River in the beautiful mountains of Idaho. Drove into town, walked in and got a room on the water. Second stay (last time in 2011) and was not disappointed. Staff are friendly, ready and willing to help with any questions that you might have. It's a great location and rooms are clean. Even in the colder weather nice to walk out on the patio overlooking the river.

Staying in the Clearwater Suite during Christmas was wonderful. Room is large with a sunken living room and an AMAZING view of the river and first floor grounds of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay at the rivers edge over Christmas. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Our boys loved the biscuits and gravy. Views around this hotel are great. You can get a room with a river view. Lobby very nice and lodge type setting. The lodge reminds me of a fishing or hunting lodge. Breakfast in the morning is great. Hot and cold available. People very friendly.
