Good value, spacious room with a balcony overlooking the river. The bed was comfortable, and the room quiet. The front desk staff were helpful. The breakfast buffet is a bit disappointing, but OK. If you want reasonable coffee, get if from reception rather than the buffet. Wifi was fast - no complaints. more

We just spent three nights at the Shilo Inn Riverside. It was a very pleasant experience, with a great river view of the Boise river, squirrels playing across the bike path, good restaurants nearby, and a pleasant staff. On my next trip to Boise, I will definitely stay here again. Also, a very good breakfast. more

Not ultra modern but clean and friendly. Beautiful location at the edge of the Boise River walkway and near downtown Boise. If you like to walk for pleasure or exercise this is great place to start. You can walk the river trail for miles if you choose to...or bike it! We had to pay a little extra for a room... more

Stayed one night. Staff was very nice. Very pet friendly. Greenbelt trail out back door. Good free breakfast and snacks in lobby. Rooms a bit more worn than some other Shilo Inns we've stayed at, but still fine. Mattress showing its age. more

We had a long delay at check in as we had paid online but they couldn't find any record of it. Fortunately we'd brought our print out with us otherwise I'm not sure what would have happened! The girl at the desk was very apologetic though and suggested we had some of the complimentary coffee and snacks while we waited.... more

My husband and I were in Boise for Medical issues. Shilo was close and easy access to hospital,, very clean with a nice outside deck access so he could smoke. view of the river and walking path/distance to Joe's Crab Shack. We will be happy to return to this hotel. more

My dog loved exiting the room to the river walk-great location!!. Dog treats and human too in the lobby 24-7. The rooms were neat and tidy no smells and the frig and microwaves were a plus. Morning breakfast was varied and tasty- breakfast room lady was friendly and approachable. 1 block to Joes Crab Shack and not far from anything... more
