Art deco refurbished motel with a cozy bar a few blocks from Old Boise downtown. Nice staff, quick check-in, clean room. Large walk-in shower was different but nice. Spent 3 weeks in Modern in 2007 business trip. Its location is perfect for evening walk to the city center. Boise river greenbelt is a couple of blocks away and very convenient for jogging. Modern is okay - outside facing doors, noisy, rennovated Motel 6 style hotel. For a friend's weekend, okay - for a business trip, not recommended. more
