While Boise is not the most exciting city to visit, the Red Lion Downtowner was fantastic. Great view of the city and surrounding area while walking distance to a few restaurants and bars. Very clean and very nice hotel. more

This was our second stay here (the first three years ago). The rooms are good with comfortable beds. A good sized pool was available. It was about 20 minutes to walk to downtown but that was fine. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. We would have given a strong 5 if breakfast had been included. more

I have been here many times. Its s nice place, but I think its in need of a little care. Still nice though. My family loves it and it has a good location to everything we wanted to do. Red Lion always has decent rooms and good prices. Will come again. more

Carpet stank; room was stale; "free" wi-fiI NEVER worked; repairman with jackhammer began hammering through cement floor next to my room at 7:30 Saturday morning; not to be outdone, a brand new outfit I left in my room for a few hours went MISSING - never to be recovered.
