Honestly, I have never stayed at a more disgusting hotel. You would assume that the Doubletree brand would be held to higher standards. This place looks like it still belongs in the 1970's- its old and there is nothing attractive about it. I would have been better off at a Comfort Inn. This place is not even worth $30/night. AND,... more

This hotel was probably very nice circa 1985, but it hasn't been updated since then and is badly in need of an extensive update. The hallways and lobby are very dark and the furniture and fixtures in the rooms are very worn and tired. As other reviewers have noted, it appears to be scheduled for a renovation based on the... more

For a 3 star hotel, pretty disappointing! Very smelly like old cigarettes. We pricelined the room, but I have never, ever been given a room that had cigarette burns and smelled so bad in a 3 star hotel, especially at a Doubletree! We abandoned the room, even though it was paid for, and paid full price at the Oxford Suites. more

In spite of having a great site along the river, this hotel has got to have the thinnest walls ever!  We were unfortunate enough to have an amorous couple over our heads.  We heard it all, all night long.   Our next-door neighbors came in laughing and singing at 3:00 a.m.  We heard that, too.  Then, housekeeping staff arriving for the... more

I will start by saying that this hotel is clearly about to undergo extensive renovation. This is evident by the sample boards littering the lobby. The room, unremodeled, was decent for the price. You can tell that at one point in time this was a VERY nice hotel. The bathroom was in need of repair, however. Trying to take a... more

Stayed here 1 night as part of a road trip from Utah to Oregon. Booked on Priceline for $41 during Thanksgiving week. This hotel is listed as a 3.5 star on Priceline but I would categorize it as a 2.5 or 3 star. It seems dated - lots of heavy, dark wood - from the furniture to the doors. It... more

Please, whatever you do, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! I was informed by my Boise accounts that this is a popular hotel for hookers. I made reservations for 2 nights, but barely made it through the first night. I immediately checked out early the next day. The bedding was stained. The furniture was scratched and dented. The A/C was... more

We stayed 3 nights with a one year-old, a 4 year-old, and our Lab. The room with two queens was large and clean. It had a sliding glass door that opened onto a large lawn--that was convenient for airing the dog. [See the end of the review for a negative aspect of our stay....] The pool is very large and... more

We stayed for 3 nights, we know this area well, the hotel is on prime river side land, with the green belt running right behind. But it is OLD late 70's and running down. Joe's Crab shack next door and perfect location to easy connector and Boise area. This hotel is HUGE it spralls all along what seems a city... more
