We stayed here over Thanksgiving as a stopover on our way to Florida. It is a couple of blocks from beach and located near shops and restaurants. Room was clean and basic. This property is older, but it was clean and well maintained. There are not many choices on Tybee if you want to stay just a few nights. I stayed at the Ocean Plaza a few years ago and I found that this property is nicer. We enjoyed having a microwave and small fridge in the room. One word of advice... More

Howard Johnson's on Tybee is a great hotel; very clean, very quiet, very friendly. Hotel is starting to show it's age a little, but is in a great location for a family trip to the beach. More
