As a lifelong southerner, the Chipley Murrah House is the kind of place you wish all non-southerners would stay so they would know the uniqueness of southern hospitality. Paul & Donna have created a Bed & Breakfast experience that leaves nothing but a good taste in your mouth. My wife and I wanted to see the Fantasy in Lights extravaganza... More

My husband and I spent two nights at the Chipley Murrah house and were extremely pleased with the hospitality. Donna and Paul are excellent hosts. They made us feel like friends, not customers. We stayed in the Governor's Suite, which has a huge comfy king-sized four-poster bed. The room (and entire house) is decorated beautifully, especially for Christmastime! It's like... More

Our driving trip from Florida to Chicago required a two day rest somewhere in Georgia. To our absolute delight, we found the Chipley-Murrah House B&B in Pine Mountain. Certainly, the Calloway Gardens, just minutes down route 18 was the central attraction. But the visit with Donna and Paul Haynes at their B & B was a fabulous experience. The restored... More

Donna and Paul are the perfect hosts. This was our first experience at a B&B and they have set the bar very high for any future visits at other B&B's. We were celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary and we stayed in the Governor's Room. It was beautiful!! There actually aren't any rooms that I wouldn't want to stay in. I... More

Paul and Donna are the perfect innkeepers for a place like this. Far superior to any other accomodations in the area, the main house is wonderfully decorated and full of beautiful antiques. We stayed in the Governor's Suite for the two nights we were there and other than the bed being not quite up to what we like, it was... More

We only stayed one night on our way to Florida but the Chipley Murrah House is wonderful place. It is filled with antiques but the bed was a very comfortable king size reproduction (thank heaven). The hosts were wonderful and breakfast was great. The rates were very reasonable. We went specifically to visit the historical sites associated with Franklin Roosevelt... More

Shortly after arriving, my wife said " I'm into B&Bs and no more hotels." The room was just fantastic. I could stretch my entire body in the bear claw tub. Each room in the home invited you to stop and look at the decor. Paul and Donna were such wonderful people, I would love to have them as neighbors. Breakfast... More

This is a beautiful B & B inside and out and is located about five minutes from the entrance to Callaway Gardens. The hosts are wonderful, the breakfast was excellent and the other guests were very pleasant. Had a wonderful stay in the main house. Due to the many fragile decorations and types of guests this B & B attracts,... More

We had 3 wks travelling in the USA so stayed in many places. Some dear friends booked this B&B for us as they wanted to make our stay in Pine Mountain special & memorable - this it certainly was. The place is amazing, very well decorated and very homely. So many antiques and things to look at and read. We... More
