Very lovely room; oldstyle hotel, but renovated and very modern features in the room. Very personal service at the front desk. Sits right across from the town square with many dining options. Saw many people out walking around the square, and a concert played outside my balcony the evening I arrived. Plan to return with my wife for a longer... More

My husband took me to the James Madison Inn yesterday for my birthday and I was soooooo impressed with this bed and breakfast inn. This hotel is truly one of the most beautiful I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. We stayed in a suite, which was very spacious and very elegant, (the entire hotel is elegant) and we... More

Stayed here just for one night on our road trip through Georgia. On arrival I was surprised that the inn was quite new as I had assumed it would be in a historic building. However, the room was beautiful and very comfortable and the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Only thing missing was a coffee maker... More

My wife and I spent a most pleasant afternoon and evening at the James Madison Inn. After a very friendly greeting, we settled into an immaculate room on the so-called "market side." Our "luxury king" room had a terrace, and the bathroom had a double vanity and great shower. In addition, the bed was the most comfortable I had ever... More

Stayed at this charming place last year as a last minute get away, and returned this month for the same. The rooms were once again just as gorgeous as last year and furnished with impeccable taste. Linens are the most luxurios, and even the upholstered chairs and room darkening drapes were custom made out of the finest fabric. (maybe not... More

We enjoyed the James Madison in during a BRAG bicycle weekend. The location of the inn was absolutely perfect. The service was high quality across every person we met. The breakfast (included) was basic but the rooms were nice and we'd absolutely stay there again.

We selected the James Madison Inn as it was a sponsor of our weekend bike ride in Madison, GA. The location is very convenient to downtown restaurants and shops - easy walking distance. The Inn is quaint with just two floors and 17 rooms and has the feel of a large southern plantation with ornate wood trim and chandeliers. While... More

Wonderful Place. We make a point to plan our travels so we can stay at The James Madison Inn. Staff Members are awesome. The rooms are beautiful. The town is quaint. The only area that could be improved is breakfast. It is wonderful that it is available, and we know they are not set up to cook a full meal,... More
