We camped for 2 nights at the park and really enjoyed all the wildlife including gators, raccoon, deer, owls, turkey vultures, and much more. We just stayed at the Eco-lodge which is 18 miles away from Stephen Foster State Park, but is part of the park. Stephen Foster is on the west side of the Okefenokee refuge, the main entrance is on the east side and it takes about an hour to travel the distance. Fantastic quiet state park, a great jumping off point for touring the Okeefenokee National Wildlife Refuge (the state park is right in the middle of it!)
