My husband and teenaged son and I booked a suite with a king bed and a sofa sleeper. First impression was small but serviceable with dated decor. We left for an all evening family gathering, then returned to settle in for the night. Then the issues started surfacing. There was no no extra bedding for the sofa sleeper, and upon asking was given sheets but no blanket. They were out. A hotel, presumeably nice hotel, was out of blankets! The bathroom door lacked an exterior handle and one of the two smoke detectors were dangling from the ceiling. There were also stains on the bathroom wallpaper and mud stains on the drapes and a mysterious dark stain on the sofa. ... and we noticed this at midnight after being at a family gathering. I have never been is such an ill kept hotel that charged what this one did. The staff was courteous but helpless to do other than offer me a $20 credit on the bill. We made do, sharing the king coverlet with our son, and freezing everytime the air... more
