First the good---this place has eye appeal with its location on a gentle slope above the highway.It is convenient to several nice places to eat.You can walk down the slope to the Fruit Jar Restaurant(good country cooking) ,and the grounds are immaculate with a very inviting pool.The room,although clean,had some unattractive mismatched furniture that needs to be replaced.The air conditioning... more

Pleasantly surprised for monies paid. Reception was brisk, friendly and organised. Motel exterior looked welcoming with an outdoor small, clean swimming pool. Our room was both clean and comfortable and the shower was just bliss after a long drive. No coffee maker, fridge etc in our room but didn't request same. (Some rooms equipped though). I stayed for a week at the Cartersville Econo Lodge in January 2007. Never again! Below is a summary of my week there. I would have to run the hot water in the shower for over 5 MINUTES to get warm water in the morning. The sheets looked terrible (stains and holes from cigarettes, even though I was in a... more
