We stayed four nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. The Lodge was so beautiful inside and out. It was decorated for Christmas in an elegant way. The room was immaculate and the service from every aspect was excellent.

Had to be here for a conference, so we did not have a choice of room, but we were put in a double queen. The room did seem sort of small for it to be a "resort". But most rooms have a balcony, which is covenient for smokers, but you don't really get a view of the lake, just trees....

Lake Lanier Islands Resort was very nice and we were treated like royalty while attending a Family wedding weekend event with about 100 people. The doors were opened and the experience began.
The rooms in the main lodge are nice, clean and on the large side. Bullfrogs (1st floor) is the most reasonable price for eating and pretty good food....

I stayed at this resort hotel for a dear friends wedding I was attending. What a perfect place for a wedding with many venues to offer.
