I thought this was an extended stay hotel. I needed that type of arrangement as I moved to an unfamiliar area for a new job and needed a reasonably priced place while I found an apartment. It is not an extended stay. It is an apartment building for transients. I stayed because I had made a long trip on the Autotrain and did not know the area, but checked out as soon as the week I had committed to for a lower rate was up. The room had no hangers or kitchen equipment that extended stay hotels have. The couch was ripped and there was graffitti on the bathroom floor. The towels? Better off with tissues. I will say that the room was clean. The people staying there ranged from people down on their luck to families squeezed into small spaces and characters who looked like a casting call for 'Drug Dealer #1' on Law and Order.
