My wife & I stayed here over the weekend and we LOVED it. All of the rooms are suites with kitchenettes and are very nice. The grounds are amazing, though the pool is a bit small. In addition, there is a wonderful little shopping area nearby. We loved Vero Beach and will visit often. When we return, we'll be staying... More

If u get a beachfront room in E bldg which is the original bldg.(breezeway) u are practically in the ocean. Astonishing! D & E bldg have the coolest rooms anywhere. All are suites and are decorated to be faithful with the history of The Driftwood. The history of the D'wood and Treasure Coast is very enchanting if not mesmerizing. Staff... More

A first time visit to Vero, it was simply fate to fall on this gem of a place. Room for 4, and a balcony with a view, I couldn't have had a more comfortable stay in 228. Right on the corner above Waldo's, I was at first hesitant that I would be kept up with the band playing, but there... More

I have stayed at this resort for 5 experiences, with family renting up to 6 rooms all at once. Great selection of room types and amentities makes this a great destination for groups. Reasonably priced, given the most rooms have kitchenette, living room separate from bedroom and nice balcony/porch for each room. The rooms are someone dated, and in baths... More

This place is a Vero Beach classic and is a little older, but hasn't raised its prices to unrealistic levels. We stayed in the older section where our room had charming decor and a tiny but functional kitchen. The bed was my only complaint - we had to split up and use the sofabed. The beach is fabulous and the... More

If you want to experience some old florida lifestyle, this place is perfect with lots of character and interesting history. Great experience with every every member of the staff. The second floor room, overlooking the ocean was very accommodating and clean. My wife and I will return for another stay as soon as time allows. Thank you!

Our room was 210 and it was not one of the nicer rooms at the resort. However, we had none of the problems expressed in some of the previous reviews. No smell, no bugs--just a clean, but compact unit. Since there 2 of us, the srudio unit was fine. An earlier reviewer said RCI owners should request a higher unit.... More

Had room 104, same as a previous review. So much of the same to say as he wrote. Dark room, small kitchen. The carpets and furniture were dingy, and the room smelled, so i had to buy a air-freshener to be able to stay in room. Noisy airconditioner. Approx 19 inch nonflatscreen TV.Some ants in bathroom - no problem. Filthy... More

We came upon this great find when we meet a couple of bikers in a park. They suggested this place to us which was right up our alley. It is a time share also so wasn't expecting a one night stay. Too our surprise we got an ocean front suite. These rooms take you back in time, but had everything... More
