I must admit that I wasn't too excited to be staying at a Residence Inn but once I got there, that all changed. The hotel is lovely and looks to have been recently updated. We were a family of 7 going on a cruise. We needed a place to stay the night before our cruise sailed. We got a 2 bedroom suite. The rooms were very nice. Breakfast was great. They were in the midst of redoing the lobby/breakfast area so I'm sure it will be even nicer. more

This hotel was a real disappointment. It's in a bad neighborhood - lots of construction, suspicious or homeless people walking around, and you can't walk to a single thing that's worth walking to. Amazing 3 night stay at the Residence Inn Downtown. Room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Really enjoyed the thoughtful amenities, great value for the price. Downtown location. Dirty streets and lots of homeless and drunk people hanging around. Restaurants within walking distance cater to people who work downtown and are closed for dinner.
