rooms need to be updated .. the air conditioning unit was very loud ... breakfast buffet was very good... the best part of the stay lots of parking close to shopping malls and siesta key but I would not walk to the key/beach from here telephone answering machine did not work in my room .. missed several calls more

I stayed in January 09 for the second time after a visit last year. Nice clean rooms with comfortable bedding, a microwave, fridge, movie selection. The best spa and pool area, plus great breakfast. Great location near stores and the beach. Most front desk staff friendly, and maid service very good. more

First let me say this is not a 3-star hotel, as Hotwire would lead you to believe. It's basically a motel in close proximity to Siesta Key. We got a good coupon deal at less than $100 for our intended night, but found the hotel so comfortable and efficient that we decided to base ourselves there for our entire Sarasota stay. Arrived late @ 10:00PM and awoke early to leave at 7:00AM, the bathroom was a disaster, dirty towles, hair all over the floor, toilet & tub/curtain. Director of services was extremely rude, wanted to know why we waited until check-out to complain?? Found out when we arrived that this is a motor lodge, rooms are very musty. Our second year to stay here. So very pleased. Nice and clean. Rooms have an outside entrance which was great for us to store our bikes in the rooms. Complimentary breakfast with yogurt, bacon, cooked eggs, cereals, etc. Complimentary cappuchino, coffee and hot chocolate at any time. Popcorn machine for free popcorn.
