“Great Hotel”

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Free popcorn and coffee selection. Room was very clean and beautiful. Very easy to get across to Siesta Key. Publix and shopping center right across the street. Restaurant within walking distance. Awesome breakfast selection, restocked often with plenty of options.

Thank you for your review. Your room was well inspected upon your departure and was completely clear of any insects. We are exterior corridor. Guests and personnel entering and exiting rooms leave the ability for insects to possibly be present from time to time. The room has been rented several times since your departure without incident. “Great hotel near Siesta Key.”

This turned out to be a great choice for me and my 2 children, rooms are a little on the small side but it was o.k. They have a great breakfast and pool area. Staff is very nice. Check in and out went smooth. We would stay here again for sure when coming to Siesta Key.

“close to Siesta Key, but better value”

“No decent hotels adjacent to Siesta Key”

Unless you want to pay a fortune and stay directly on Siesta Key, there are no decent hotels within two or three miles inland from the island. I think that Best Western Plus is as good as it gets - which, that being said, isn't very good. The lobby of the hotel has been renovated and is nice and modern.... More

Thank you for your review. I must, however, point out a couple of your assumptions as being incorrect. This property underwent a $1.5 mm renovation, completed in July, 2012. Among the many things that were upgraded were the corridor coverings, which is all brand new exterior carpeting. Being exterior corridor, as you can understand, we are subject to the elements.... The room was clean and the daliy service was excellent. The staff at the desk was always cheerful, helpfull, and prompt.
