We have stayed at West Wind Inn multiple times over the last decade. It consistently delivers high value. Immaculately clean, friendly efficient service, nice accomodations. Each time we go they have added new features or some major upkeep so that it is always fresh and pleasant. The location truly is paradise. We love West Wind! more

I was looking for a great view of the beach and a quiet place to stay. I was thrilled with West Wind. It was clean and quiet with a great view. The front staff was great and helped me with many questions. Added bonus of being near the Darling Refuge. I will return! more

The West Wind makes you feel like your in Aruba. It is the only hotel directly on the beach with tiki bar, restaurant, for the best prices ever! ( unless you want to stay at the only coporate run hotel on the island and it costs more and it touristy ! Yuck ! ) Everyone, exspecially the rest staff is... more

The good news is that the grounds are gorgeous. The bad news is that the rooms are not updated at all. There was mold in the bathroom. Trash in the breezeway. Very disappointed. more

We have stayed at several locations on the west coast and none have been as good as the West Wind Inn. The facillities were good, a good pool deck and plenty of shading umbrellas. First trip to Sanibel area and was very pleased overall with the hotel. The west wind inn is more like a motel/hotel set up. We had first floor rooms near the washing machine area which was a little bit of an eyesore and noise problem early morning. We had 3 rooms with 5 kids so we were up early anyways.... more
