Everything was less than expected. Pool area crowded Not many sunbeds or chairs. Looked better on internet. Staff in a funny combo of shop/reception. Does not really go well. Homeless people, OR nearly homeless?, passing by OR living there? Too dark at night. Does not feel safe. Water in bayou not ok for swimming.

I thought the place was fantastic! The cabin and showers were clean. I caught two fish within an hour of setting up camp. It is close to Madiera Beach, John’s Pass and St. Pete. I now know where my Gulf Coast campground is. Thanks KOA, you’re the best!
