We spent a relaxing weekend at Gulf Winds Resort. Don't expect the Marriott, but do expect a comfortable lauch pad for nearby trips to the beach or restaurants. And the cherry on the sundae: you are within walking distance of Twistee Treat which has dozens of soft serve ice cream flavors.

Just checked out of Gulfwinds hours ago....we had a great month staying there!! We were also there for March 2011. Wonderful place next to the #1 USA beach! It has great staff and friendly neighbors!
