We rented a Private Room at the Pirate Haus for 2 nights as part of our multi city honeymoon. We like history, we like different and we like pirates and this inn provided all. The building is almost hidden away yet so close and conveniently located to the action, once you park, you won't really need your car. Using the... more

We had a ball. Has to be one of my more memorable trips I have taken. The boys just loved the room and especially the fact they got personalized pirate pancakes. I think they will be talking about them forever. The inn is so close to absolutely everything downtown that it was easy to get anywhere quickly...and even quicker to... more

Glad you all made it back OK! Thanks for your glowing words, we had quite a few kids running around that day, too bad they didn't all get to play with the Pirate toys at the same time! Glad you found us and we appreciate your business!

I was on a shoestring budget and decided to give the pirate haus inn a try. At first I was skeptical. Being stationed in Europe I heard soldiers talk about hostels but I never gave it a tried. I have to say it was a great stay. It is nice to have a bed, a hot shower, and a morning... more

We enjoyed our 1 night stay in one of the pirate themed rooms. The owner was very friendly and helpful and gave our seven year old son pirate books to read and toys to play with which he loved. The all you can eat pancake breakfast was good too. I've now learnt how to make pirate pancakes. The location is great,... more

A little background: Our kids were out of town with the grandparents and we were looking for a nice weekend getaway that wasn't going to break the bank. And at the Pirate Haus Inn, we found it. 1. The location is absolutely awesome. We walked everywhere we wanted to go except for the Fountain of Youth and the Lighthouse. I... more

Aye, thanks for yer kind review. While I don't want to claim victory over mother nature (bad things always seem to befall those who do!), we seem to have solved our sugar ant problem, so hopefully on your next visit we'll be able to earn the extra 'star' or the extra green dot as it were. Thanks for staying with...

My friends and I stayed at the pirate haus hotel for our spring break. The location was perfect, we walked every where-even across the bridge (ha!). The staff and even the guests were so friendly. Capt Conrad really made us feel like we were at home and knew all the best restaurants. The only negative about our stay was that... more

What room were you in? I'll have a look at the shower head. If the pressure was low it could be due everyone showering at once in the AM. But we do appreciate your business, if you have any other concerns please let us know so we can take appropriate action. Cheers, Good luck with the studies! Da Cap'n

My son and I were down for a homeschooling trip. We had the jungle room. It was very large and very comfortable. The bed slept better than my own does. The location was awesome. With a green train ticket we really did not need to even USE our vehicle while we were there, although we drive to the beach one... more

Aye, we do indeed have a great location, walking distance to St. George/the Bayfront/the Plaza, and unfortunately half a dozen bars... so the rooms on the street can get noisy on Friday/Saturday nights. We do have free earplugs for those sensitive or planning an early evening. The rooms on the non-street side are however quieter... Thanks for choosing us!

The Pirate Haus Inn was a new and fun experience for our family of five. Conrad and the staff were really helpful and laid back. The kids loved the living room and homey feel of the place. The only downfall for us was the parking, but it all worked out. We would definitely go back. more

My wife and I stayed for nights in St. Augustine for spring break with four of our friends, and we chose the Pirate Haus because we were aiming for a cheap vaction to get out of Ohio weather. We were all Ok with a dorm style room if it came at $20 a night and included warm weather and a... more

Aye, thank ye for yer kind words. And Brandon thanks ye as well. Glad that the Pirate Haus was able to compensate for bad weather. We usually do try to arrange for good weather for our guests, but globally there's only so much good weather about and St. Augustine is not always at the top of the list. Thanks for...
