We were staying at the Casa Monica Hotel for one night only and decided to extend for one more night, but they were completely sold out so we had to find another place to stay that night. We decided to stay at the Old Mansion Inn. When we arrived and Vera opened the door I knew we were in for... More

Great Location. Near all the major St Augustine attractions and fine dining. Room was full of amenities: small kitchen, complementary snacks and soft drinks, soaps, and shampoos. Classic decour with themed art. Grounds are beautiful with tasteful plants. Truly tree/green friendly. But the best experience is chatting with Vera Kramer, the owner manager. What a Lady in all aspects. Further,... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Old Mansion coach house--and, yes, "Vera is Great." This was my first stay here but I plan to return. The owner, Vera is a lovely person who cares about animals, children, recycling, dolls, people, and much more. She is a Grandmotherly-type and a delight to be around. Her breakfast is H-U-G-E and yummy.... More

For the traveler looking for a comfortable, spacious, well positioned bed and breakfast, then Old Mansion Inn is your spot. It is located just outside the hustle and bustle of the old town area, and therefore a quiet location one block off the main road but just one block away from the old town shopping district, bus and tourist shuttle... We stayed for the first time in the Old Mansion this spring, after having admired it for many years. It was a most beautiful home that has been lovingly restored. Vera is a very kind hostess and we enjoyed getting to meet her. She has some of the most gorgeous and unique furnishings that we have ever seen. We absolutely... More

A wonderful restored old mansion from the late 1800's. My husband and I have stayed there six times over the past three-and-a-half years. The rooms are spacious & clean; a full breakfast is provided every morning; the grounds are gorgeous. Almost everything is within walking distance, including the historical sights, restaurants, and antique shops.

WE had booked the Old Mansion in for a special anniversary treat. We got a treatment instead. The elderly woman who owns the place seems nice but she is asking a lot of money, $185 a night for very poor and dirty accomodations. When we arrived she told us she was feeding 8 feral cats and a possun and racoon.... More

Please view the assessment of our establishment. It was inspected by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation directly after these guests stayed with us. The inspector determined very easily that our Bed and Breakfast is in excellent order. We are sorry to say that the couple who posted this comment did stay with us during a very cold weekend;...
