Ok, I couldn't stay for more than a few nights in the Port Charlotte area anyway. We stay over when visiting Danielle's Mom who lives there. Microtel rooms all or mostly all come with a fridge and microwave. The rooms are starting to show some ware. The carpet in our room had some heavy stain near the work center. We... More

We stayed at this motel in February. It looks ok from the outside but the rooms are very small and not that clean. The breakfast was very poor not much choice at all. For the rate we paid $133 it was very disappointing and no better than a £19 Travelodge.

The building on the outside looks nice but once you walk inside the room it was dirty. Only one towel. Bathtub was disgusting .Felt like i was staying in a roach motel. I will never stay there again . For the price it should be alot cleaner. i talked to the manager he was very rude.He didnt care about the... More

The exterior of the building is quite attractive and the lobby was nice. All the staff we encountered were great, very pleasant and helpful. I have to agree, the walls are paper thin, and I was afraid to turn the TV too high for fear of disturbing someone else. The ad said there was a jacuzzi--never found it. The pool... More

The room was very clean but three complaints.1.there were thin walls.we can here or neighbor's tv and door closing.2.I found a bug in the bathroom and I found a towel with a hole in it. Even after those faults I mentioned, I would visit the hotel again.

On the surface this hotel looks like a great deal. The room was $57 tax included for the night. The building looks new, the rooms are clean, nicely furnished with new beds, nice furniture and a flat screen TV. The appearance is very nice. We arrived about 7:00 and there were about 5 cars in the parking lot. This hotel... More

Friendly welcome when checking in. Room was a lovely surprise .... clean with pillow top mattresses, new plump pillows, brighter than white bed linen, fluffy white towels, flat screen TV. Free national calls and WIFI. We never had any problems getting internet connection and stayed connected. This is a 'green' hotel so to cut down on washing they had a... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights at this location, and the room would compare to a 3 or 4 star. The bedding had a white comforter sandwiched between quality sheets instead of a bedspread. The pillows were new or excellent quality, 4 on each queen size bed. Florida was having torrential rains one day so we spent a lot... More

Driving up the East coast from Fort Meyers we decided it was time to stop for the night. Following the GPS "lodgings" and wanting to avoid anything with "Motel" in the name, we found the Microtel Inn & Suites (we have found that the suite solution is very convenient travelling as we are, not wanting to eat out every night...
