Just stayed at the Palm Beach Historic Inn for 4 days--In my opinion, this is the most convenient, centrally located place to stay in Palm Beach, not to mention it is actually affordable! This is literally one street away from Worth Ave and one short block from the beach. The room was spotless upon arrival and cleaned everyday. Breakfast was... More

This place was nice and would have received a pretty good review had the owners not been out of town... We arrived on a Saturday around 2 PM. The entrance door was locked and no one seemed to be around. We waited outside a while, and then started calling the hotel phone number. Nothing. Eventually someone walked out of the... More

They are correct, we are not there full time "out of season." Our housekeeping staff was there to prepare a great breakfast, turn the room and provide clean towels and prep. The rooms are immaculate. The room was $99 per night including breakfast, beach towels, chairs and blankets. More

Everything was excellent. Lovely rooms, comfortable, very clean and quiet (with awesome beds!). Very charming and beautifully decorated old building. The location is ideal, very close to the beach and to Worth Avenue. Delicious continental breakfast served in bed! We greatly appreciated the courtesy and friendliness of the staff. Definetely one of the rare places in Palm Beach with highest... More

We sent three friends here in March. One couple, and two solo friends came at different times, and they all were very happy they stayed here. It is not luxurious and elegant, but a B&B that works. Everyone raved about the owner (John) whose son played in the recent Honda Classic (golf). Nice family. Very high marks for the breakfasts.... More

Just stayed for 3 nights. One block to the beach and 2 blocks to Worth Avenue- can't beat this location! Loved the free breakfast and free snacks too!! Great trip :) More

My recent visit was extremely satisfying. I found the hotel, location and service exactly what I expected it to be. The operators of the inn went out of their way to make me feel like i was their only guest dispite the place being full. I will definitely be going back and would recommend it to anyone!!! More

We loved the location and the old building. However, the hot water was intermittent at best, lots of peeling paint and other areas of deferred maintenance. The beds had seen better days as well. It is listed as a B&B but breakfast never occurred. Nice folks but they really need to fix the place up. More

I own the Inn and I dispute the travelers version of their stay. I do not have a Colorado client booked for that time frame and I do not understand. We have two 250 water heaters that throw out scolding hot water (being an old building, it can take a minute to get to the hot water, but there is... More

Considering that $200 a night is very inexpensive for lodging in Palm Beach (especially in-season), my wife and I booked our stay here with pretty modest expectations. But having said that, our stay at Palm Beach Historic Inn was pretty terrible on all counts (other than the fact this is located within walking distance of Worth Avenue). When we checked... More

I own the PB Historic Inn (with a partner) and at the time, you met a new innkeeper we had just hired. Versus your review and description of our 1923 historic landmark building (and your $200 room), I would like to invite you back for a free night to try it again. Call or email me at (561) 707-0206. I... More

I wanted to provide a more updated review. I stayed at the Palm Beach Historic Inn in Feb. 2004 -- right in the middle of the season. The hotel was quiet, pleasant, clean and service was wonderful. Breakfast arrived at my door exactly the time it was ordered. It is conveniently located for walking to Worth Avenue shopping and restaurants... More

I stayed here for a few days in mid-July 2004. My room was charmingly decorated, clean, well-kept and very quiet. Also extremely affordable for Palm Beach. Breakfast was brought to my room each morning with a smile. The owners are very helpful, but not intrusive if you prefer privacy. Bonus: homemade chocolate chip cookies were left for guests on the...
