I had a very nice stay. After reading reviews...I was scared. Other then furniture being outdated, the room was clean and nice. We had a renovated room w kitchen. Perfect view and not crowded like Daytona. The breakfast could use some work bur overall...I was quite pleased. Staff was great.

We stayed here one night on our way to Disney. It was disgusting! We had to wear shoes in the room because our feet stuck to the floor, by the way it was carpet!!! this is our 4th time at the makai over the last 4 years and each time is better then the last. the room was remodeled and so comfortable. the staff were all very pleasant as usual. cant wait to return!
