My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying at the Adora Inn during the annual Mt. Dora Art Festival. We arrived after dark, in a rainstorm, and exhausted from a long work week and stressful drive. Arthur and John immediately made us welcome, ran out in the rain to retrieve our bags, then showed us to our very charming... more

The Adora is clean and neat, and located in an integral corner of the downtown area. The hosts, John and Arthur, are congenial and engaging. The breakfasts were creative and good; including sincere accomodation of my request for low cholesterol options. One perception of note: this is not "Gandma's cottage", with foral wallpaper, nick-nacks, fluffy nooks and crannies, and structured... more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Adora. The house is beautifully decorated in modern art and is very cozy and welcoming! The rooms are comfortable and the hosts are endearing. We very much enjoyed the wonderful breakfast prepared. It was great to sit at the table with the hosts and the other guests, having friendly conversation and enjoying morning... more

We wanted to stay at TA #1, Grandview, but are hesitant to book locations that do not post their average room rate. We were not disappointed with #2 Adora Inn. John and Arthur are attentive hosts for this totally remodeled, turn of the century house done in contemporary style. Rooms are large, comfortable and the inn is conveniently located near... more

From the moment you arrive at Adora Inn, you are treated as family. John was there to welcome us and help bring our bags up to our room.... the Vanilla room. It was very clean, very cozy and the bed was sublime. The next morning the breakfast consisted of a wonderful southwestern omelette, a quesadilla, fresh fruit with a wonderful... more

John and Arthur or Arthur and John, who special guys who love to take care of their lodgers. From morning till dawn. It begins with a wonderful breakfast, all together around a large table. First time on a vacation that we all hurried to be the first downstairs to see and taste what the "kitchen magician" Arthur had prepared for... more

What a treat to stay at this 'adora'ble inn! Pun intended. Not only was it very clean, and the inn keepers are very friendly. But, in my humble opinion, the breakfast was the best! They serve a mediterranean style tapas of breakfast dishes. So cool! I can't wait to visit this cute little town and stay at the Adora Inn... more

Overall, a wonderful B&B with excellent location in downtown Mount Dora. My room was bright, clean, very comfortable. The living areas of the B&B were all well appointed. The owners were gracious hosts. I would definitely stay here again. more

The Adora Inn is a simply wonderful B&B. It is well taken care of, inviting, charming, and one seriously feels instantly at 'home'. The owners/managers, John and Arthur, are warm, personable, and engaging, and they, along with the charm of Mount Dora, make this a destination package not to be missed. Thank you for a terrific weekend, special/delicious breakfasts, and... more
