Formerly the "Cadillac" This is a good hotel that has been modernised. Half an hour from Miami Intl Airport $32 cab fare. Good friendly & efficient staff at reception and concierge. After reading the good reviews in here I decided to stay at this hotel for one night. Havin been to Miami many times, I have to conclude, that the reviews overrate the hotel by all means. I can't say enough about this hotel! I went with a friend and we stayed for 7 nights. We booked through a travel agent and she gave us a package that included free breakfast every morning. We arrived around 4pm on a Sunday and checked in without a wait. We asked for a complimentary upgrade but one was not available... more
